Here at Hughes Training, we comply with the training standards of the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) in the delivery of our courses.

Julie Mellor is a qualified trainer specialising in Manual Handling and various First Aid/CPR courses with her expertise gained from working in the NHS in the UK as well as the emergency services. Julie is passionate about delivering training to you and your company members through our training workshops.

Julie is experienced and licensed by the Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC).

All of our training can be delivered to you either on site or at an external venue at a time that suits you, we can organise our training events to take place over weekends to reduce disruption in your work place.

Your Instructor

I have extensive experience of working with the NHS in the UK as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), driving an emergency ambulance, and giving pre-hospital, emergency care to people of all ages for a variety of conditions, including, cardiac arrest, heart attack, stroke, asthma attack, trauma injuries, burns, mental health conditions, drugs overdose, alcohol related conditions. I assessed medical needs and prioritised patients to ensure the correct emergency care was delivered always to a high standard.
